Getting involved in my local community and trying to give something back and make a difference was an interest of mine for a while.
With my son already at Imberhorne and my daughter to join the school in four years time I have a long term interest in helping the school to achieve and maintain a high standard in education. Together with my past interest and involvement in sports, arts, engineering and science becoming involved with a secondary school seemed like a natural choice.
My professional background is in Engineering with specialisation in applied mathematics and computing. I have had a long involvement in developing software products for engineering applications while have also spent 10 years in academia studying, carrying out research and teaching.
