The Imberhorne MFL department is an enthusiastic and lively place. We all love learning languages and know the importance, freedom and joy that communicating with people from different countries and cultures can bring. We strive to inspire this same love for language learning in all our students; opening up opportunities, broadening horizons and shaping them as global citizens.
There are many advantages for people who speak more than one language, including improved memory, problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, enhanced concentration, the ability to multitask, and better listening skills. People who speak a second language have a better understanding of their own language and culture and are always valuable to employers.
